With the success of the first Presentation Skills seminar last August 27 (as featured in ads in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, and on Dateline Philippines on ANC last August 29), EducAid will again hold another ”From Conscious to Confident: Improve your Presentation Skills NOW!” Seminar on October 22, 2011, 11 am onwards, at the upscale yet easily accessible The Event Factory, 3rd floor, Eastwood Mall, Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City.
Participants of the previous seminar were from reputable organizations like SM, Unilever, Intercontinental Hotels Group, University of Santo Tomas, East Avenue Medical Center, Notre Dame of Greater Manila, Asia United Bank, Ayala Foundation, and Toastmasters International, among others. Also present were participants from as far as Nueva Ecija and Bacolod.
Learning investment for the second seminar is P2500 (undergrad students: P2000), inclusive of training kit, meals, and certificate of participation. Groups of five are entitled to a discount of P200 per person. Part of the clients’ fee will be used to subsidize the attendance of participants from public schools. In the first Presentation Skills Seminar, nine educators from different public schools were able to attend for free, courtesy of the other clients’ learning investment.
The trainer is Jelson Estrella Capilos, who, prior to the first “From Conscious to Confident” seminar, was a college lecturer and professional presenter; after its success, a number of the previous participants label him as their “new life coach.”
Topics covered in this seminar are techniques and strategies on how to make the most of every presentation opportunity, in light of the fact that a person only has 30 seconds to make a very good initial impression, and can only sustain another person or the audience’s attention for 17 to 20 minutes. Opening gambits, sins of presentations and how to avoid them, flow structures, among others, are the remedies to these.
Also, this second event will be packed with more of the things the previous attendees wanted, namely videos, additional anecdotes and examples with exhaustive explanation, and examples of nonverbal communication that send signals of self-confidence, power, and influence.
Experience for yourself the seminar dubbed by previous participants as “excellent” and “life-changing,” and left them wanting for “more, more, more.” attend EducAid’s “From Conscious to Confident: Improve your Presentation Skills NOW!” seminar, and reap the rewards of excellent communication skills.
