Every year, leaders of organizations come together to draw their strategic plans for the following year or for the next two years. Oftentimes though, many of the well thought off strategies remain in paper and never get to the execution phase. At times, the strategies that are translated to initiatives, projects and plan that are executed may not be the right strategies that should have been performed in the first place or the strategies that were executed are no longer the strategies needed due to unforeseeable change brought about by the external environment to our business.
This seminar–workshop provides opportunity for senior leaders of organizations to explore the six strategy-making imperatives of strategic execution which they can use as their systematic path towards creating a better, more aligned initiatives, projects and programs needed by their organizations to ensure that every resource in the organization is well spent to deliver the right outcomes. The SEF when properly followed enables leaders of organizations to “do the right projects” and “do the right projects right”. This is because the SEF gives them a better look of the broader strategic picture of their organization, and understands their organization well enough to identify and find solutions to solve the barriers to execution.
Different tools and techniques will be used as diagnostics for participants to use in determining where hey are currently compared to what is the desired state for effective strategy execution where all the six strategy imperatives are aligned to bring out the best corporate outcomes.
