Overview
Contract Administration for infrastructure projects involves those activities performed by the Contractor after a contract has been awarded by the Employer in order to fulfill the requirements of the project. The personnel assigned to perform construction contact administration activities are often referred to as a contract manager but sometimes simply designated as contract administrator, contract engineer or office engineer. Improperly trained personnel or official of the Employer/ Project Owner performing contract oversight often leads to problems in Contractor performance. Both Employer and Contractor personnel must understand their rights and obligations under the contract and how to approach difficult situations and resolve problems to the mutual benefit of both parties. This program will help to increase your familiarity in administering construction contracts. After attending this program, the participants can have the ability to understand the contract documents, communicate contract obligations to the parties involved and maintain control over the contract performance.
Objectives
The main objective of this seminar is to make sure that participants will significantly improve their skills and knowledge in a number of important areas in contract administration for infrastructure projects. They will understand the practical aspects in coordinating work with parties to the contract to get the job done successfully.
