BASIC WEB DESIGN USING OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE JOOMLA
During this 2-day hands-on workshop, participants would be able to learn how to use, administer and develop dynamic and scalable websites using Joomla (one of the worlds leading Content Management Systems). Joomla!, an open source content management system allows businesses and organizations to create robust Web sites without needing technical expertise.
At the end of the workshop, the participants would have been able to conceptualize, create and deploy a fully-functioning dynamic database drive web site!
Joomla is an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available.
Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.
