Ma. Carolina Gustilo de Ocampo, PhD is currently a professor in the College of Education at the De La Salle University-Manila and has over 30 years of experience in the field of education. She acquired her master's degree in Early Childhood and Elemantary Education from bank Street College of Education, New York.
She is currently an educational consultant to numerous schools all over the country and a regular contributor to Baby Magazine.
Research Interests are: Early Childhood Education in the Philippine Context, Literacy and Numeracy in the Philippine Classroom and Alternative Forms of Education for the Filipino Child.
Professional Affiliations: National Association for the Education of Young Children, Association for Childhood Education International, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The lecture will discuss the newest learning environments where children can learn and create so many possibilities using various alternative approaches. Creative and innovative teaching strategies in different learning areas will be discussed as well.
