WWW: A Workshop to Enliven the 'Dying' Blogging Mania
The popularity of blogging has declined drastically in 2006 to 2009 due to the deluge of social media quick updates like that of facebook and twitter, but still Matt Mullenweg of WordPress believes that there are still more that can be said in just 140 characters. Hollywood movies may have learned long ago that in order to grab the attention and successfully hooking its audience is just capsulated 10 minutes. But amidst all these, blogging is still all about content and not just simple about 'bragging' and no-nonsense status update. On March 19 and 20 at 2-5pm, Jude Cartalaba, a freelance writer, a PR person and a blogger at the same time will be holding WWW - What to Write on the Web: A Writing Workshop that Works!
Alex Lacson, bestselling author of '12 Little Things Every Filipino Can Do to Help Our Country'; Coach Pia Nazareno-Acevedo, CEO and author of 'Born to be a Hero'; Aileen Santos, author of the novel 'Seduction Secrets that Really Work'; and Ulysses King, a fashion designer for metro-masculine and desirable wear will join in this two-day writing-cum-blogging workshop as guest speakers.
Chun Valencia of PinoyFoodWriter.com, photo hobbyist Gerum Quiming of RamblingSensations.com and Lizza Villanueva, and another freelance writer-editor will share the benefits of blogging for today's communication and its impact in the younger generation. Workshop topic includes profitable blogging for business-minded people.
Register today up to February 26 and get a 500-peso off from its workshop fee of Php1500.00. Only 30 slots are allotted for the two-day weekend workshop. For workshop fee payment or reservation of at least 500 pesos can be facilitated through BDO savings account number 5630022319 and account name Raul W. Cartalaba.
