Proficiency in communicating in English is indispensable in getting high grades in law school, the bar exam and in professional practice. This is because the principal job of a lawyer and a professional is to communicate and to persuade. English is the primary weapon of lawyers in accomplishing this mission. Correct grammar and English usage are critical in writing with clarity, precision, and conciseness. Most law professors and bar examiners have found that law students and bar examinees are deficient in English. As a result, most law students flunk their subjects in law school as well as the bar exam. They have no mastery of the English language. The inability to write, express and speak English clearly is a major stumbling block to success in law school, in the bar exams, in the careers of aspiring lawyers and other professionals.
This pioneering program seeks to fill the need of law students and professionals in increasing their command of the English language, as well as legal writing. It’s a one-time investment that pays for a life-long of success.
This seminar is also applicable to college students and professionals.
