Write Right: Online English Grammar Improvement and Business Writing Workshop
June 16 and 21, 2011
600 p.m. to 900 p.m.
Online classes: between June 17 to 20, 2011
Improving business writing skills has become essential today due to the fast-paced nature of communication today. Most business professionals see the need to ensure that their writing sends their message across in the clearest and most compelling manner.
However, learning how to improve both English grammar and business writing is time-consuming. Most professionals are too busy to attend classes or workshops. To answer this need, the Filipinas Heritage Library offers an online version of its English Grammar Improvement and Business Writing workshop.
The online course provides tips on common grammatical errors and how to overcome them, basic techniques in crafting error-free sentences, and a rundown on the various formats and styles employed in crafting effective business correspondences. This regular workshop offered by the Filipinas Heritage Library has helped employees and professionals from different industries and fields to significantly improve their writing skills and style.
The workshop facilitator Ms. April Yap is a Deputy Director of Insights, Mindshare Philippines, an advertising media specialist active in 97 global cities with a significant presence in every major market. She is also the Deputy Directory of Knowledge Center, GroupM Philippines, a media independent agency operates in global cities. GroupM works as a parent and collaborator in performance-enhancing activities such as trading, content creation, digital advertising, and other business critical capabilities.
The workshop fee is P3,500 for both classes inclusive of handouts, materials, snacks, and a certificate. A non-refundable down payment of P1,000 is required to reserve a slot. The deadline for reservations is June 2, 2011. A 5 % discount will be given to those who pay in full on or before the deadline.
Payments can be given in cash, check, or through credit card.
*Discount does not apply to credit card transactions
